I work with the owner/client to ensure that the owner gets the building plan that he needs. We can start from scratch
and I do the design, or the owner might have an idea (sometimes already on paper) that we can work with.
I can also draw building plans for buildings that have already been built, without a building plan, and now need council
approval.
A full building plan means a building plan containing everything that the city council requires to approve a building plan.
It will be drawn to SANS 10400 code, and will include things like –
The floor plans
A site plan
Elevations
Sections
Energy efficiency calculations and drawings
General notes
A schedule of areas
Other schedules as needed
Other information that might be needed for the specific building plan
